What is Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) ?

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) was developed by Dr Barry Gillespie (USA). The Gillespie Approach is a combination of Craniosacral, Fascial and TMJ (Jaw) Therapy.

The core of this therapy is to treat the fascial system. Fascia is a type of connective tissue (soft tissue) that surrounds every muscle, bone, joint, ligament, nerve, artery, vein and organ in the body.

When physical and/or emotional stress negatively tightens up this freely moving fascial system. This can result in large amounts of pressure being exerted on the fascial covered structures. By releasing this fascial tension significant effects on body function may result,
